Long-time Amiga guru Adrian Cummings, creator of original titles such as Cyberpunks, Tin Toy, Doodlebug and many more. Has not only announced the digital and physical release of 'Dungeonette - The New Adventure' for the Commodore Amiga, but for those of you still undecided if it's worth a purchase, there's a demo that can be played too. A demo which gives you a first look at some of the enemies, the different themed areas, and the sword slashing sound effects. To coincide with this news, we've also got some footage of the game below.
Here's the latest about the game. " You play as a brave hero on a quest to enter the Dungeons of Doom and slay the Dark Lord. With your trusty weapons, armour and shield, you must navigate the maze of dungeons ahead and vanquish your foes. Collect bonus weapons, spells, treasures and find food to keep you from starving. The Dark Lord has sent hordes of monsters to stop you. Dungeonette is a hybrid of many games in reality and has some roots in Diablo for sure but also many others as a hack & slash dungeon crawler"

ReplyDeleteI know a few people like myself would've preferred a big box edition ;)
DeleteI bought it, and i like it.
ReplyDeleteOne thing though,I think it would have been better if the map was displayed like in the left upper corner.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I press the map now it is just unclear and confusing, hopefully this can be changed with an update.
It's good has far as slash and hack crawlers go. 7/10
