Christmas is just a few weeks away, so you'd expect to see lots of Christmas themed games appearing on Indie Retro News in the lead up to the 25th. Well that's certainly happened this week! As another festive game to be mentioned on our site, is a Christmas arcade puzzler by Vector5games for the C64 called 'Santa's Workout 4 '; a brand new game in which you need to rescue Santa and save a certain number of elves. To coincide with this news, provided below is some gameplay footage of this fantastic xmas game!
Here's the latest. "Santa’s Workout 4 is a puzzle game with two objectives in each level: rescue Santa and save a certain number of elves. Navigate and build paths through various exciting and colorful puzzles. You can build a path by placing abilities on the screen. The game is controlled by a joystick or a mouse. When a level is successfully completed, you get a level code for the next level. The game contains 24 levels in total".

ReplyDeleteIn terms of controls and gameplay, the roots to Lemmings cannot be ignored. But clever realized and pleasant to play. Can still be played well after Christmas. Thumbs up!

ReplyDeleteAm I missing something on level 14? Can't build a bridge over the spikes and haven't got any digs so how do you get to the door?

DeleteThis is a really excellent game. These Santa's Workout games have become a Christmas tradition and this is the best yet. I hope they keep them coming. Level 14 took me a while, but was satisfying. Using themouse on thec64 is fun too.
