Sarah Jane Avory is working an Ultima-style RPG for the C64!

We have just found out through one of our Patreon supporters (T.Russell) and the Commodore 64/128 group, that one of the best homebrew developers of Sarah Jane Avory, has announced that she is working on a new Commodore 64 RPG that is inspired by the classic of Ultima. While this is very early days for this game and the game description is very limited, you can at least take a look at the latest gameplay footage, as well as a video description below.

Here's the latest from Sarah, who was also behind games such as Soul Force, Zeta Wing, Briley Witch Chronicles. "Ever since the 80s I've always wanted to create an Ultima-style RPG for the C64, so I've started creating one! This is the 2nd video clip, and shows some combat, showing melee weapons, ranged weapons, and a few spells. All numbers will need balancing once everything is finished, so for now the game's a bit easy".

And that's all I know so far, but as soon as the game is worthy of another big announcement, I will let you all know :)

    1. Good to hear, I hate those Apple colors, they really make the text unreadable for me to the point I had to stop playing that game after an hour or so.

  11. This looks awesome! Would have preferred it if the Fire Demons were immune to fire, but I guess that will come in later releases.
