Another day and another ZX Spectrum game on Indie Retro News, as we've recently been informed via Saberman, that if you head on over to Hicks website, not only can you download some rather enjoyable games such as Haoken, The Goblin and Akane, but as of right now, you can download his rather awesome action platformer for the ZX Spectrum called 'Skynet'. A game which you play as Kyle Reese, on a mission to infiltrate the Skynet base and travel to the past to put a stop to the machines.
Here's what the website says about Skynet. "In the distant future, a war is raging between humans and machines. The machines try to change the destiny of humans, sending a robot to the past, which will be responsible for eliminating the mother of the resistance leader, when he has not yet been born. In a suicide mission, humans will infiltrate the Skynet base, once there they will send a person to the past, but the mission becomes complicated and everyone is exterminated except for a single soldier, Kyle Reese must try to use that time machine and travel to the year 1984 to fulfill his mission".
"To do this, you must find the nine chips that are needed to activate the time room and reach it, without dying in the attempt".
