Are you sick and tired of all the arcade platformers, shooters and puzzlers that we feature day in and day out for the Amiga? Then Zooperdan has you covered with this upcoming Commodore Amiga game of 'RallyXSE'. A proof-of-concept top down racer that is currently being made using Scorpion Engine requiring AGA (Stock A1200). Although I'm not sure when the game will be done and how far developments will progress, it is nice to see something fresh that almost looks like Rally Championships from 1994!
Here's what the Scorpion Engine page said about the game via Facebook. "Zooperdan is on a roll! His proof of concept Rally game is one of the most stunning AGA Scorpion projects ever conceived, as well as being possibly the first project to demonstrate Scorpion's viability for top down racing games". And that's I know so far, but as soon as more information arrives I'll let you all know :)
UPDATE : One of our readers asked Zooperdan if it's a genuine game or a demo. And the response was "Douglas It's not a game yet. It started as a test to see if it was doable and it turns out it is. I'll keep improving it and who knows - maybe it'll be a full game in the end" And there we go, fingers crossed!
This is very nice for a stock 1200! I'm looking forward for more news about it!!!
