Heads up ' H.E.R.O' gamers! As Liqmatrix recently informed us, that 'H.E.R.O, which is a game that was released for the Atari 800/2600, ColecoVision, C64, C128, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum, has been remade for PC, and available to download through itch io by Langford Productions . A classic game which puts you in control of Roderrick Hero, on a mission to search the cave system for the trapped miners of Mount Leone. To coincide with this news, we've got some screenshots of the game below.
And here's the details. "H.E.R.O. first appeared on the Atari 2600 way back in 1984. Written by John Van Ryzin it was considered one of the best games on that machine. The game was converted to most home computers, including the Sinclair Spectrum, that version being the inspiration for this remake. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the prop-pack controls before embarking on your adventure. The physics takes some mastering!"
