We've had another heads up via a good friend of ours, that if you like unique games for your 8bit system, then it might be worth checking out the latest ZX Spectrum release update of 'JetPac Miner v1.2b' by riefer666. A fabulous speccy game which one person is quoted as saying " a nice version of Hard Day's Night. Game looks interesting!" To coincide with this news, we've got some footage of the game as well as the story from the itch page below.
And here's the story "It has happened again. Our friend the miner Willy has gone on vacation to Mallorca and has spent all his money on casinos and women of dubious reputation. And now his creditors threaten to keep his mansion unless he pays the £ 10,000 he owes them! But all is not lost. Our brave protagonist has put on his miner's helmet again, and has started digging in the garden of his mansion. This time it will have the help of a JetPac to tour the mine, as well as a high-powered drill. Your mission, if you want to accept it, is to help you find enough precious minerals to pay off the debt".
