Apogee Software released some great games in the 90's, games such as Monster Bash, Bio Menace and even our personal favorite Duke Nukem. Well one game that's going to get the remaster treatment, and a game that many of us still remember to this day, is the 90's game of 'BioMenace'. Yes indeed for those who loved playing this game back in the 90's, will pleased to know that Rigel Gameworks, a small independent game development team, will be bringing to Steam 'BioMenace Remastered' as of Q4 2025; an enhanced modern re-release of the 1993 DOS game BioMenace.
And here's the full details from the latest press release! "Players take on the role of Snake Logan, a top-secret CIA operative. His latest mission is to fly recon over Metro City, a metropolis under attack by hordes of dangerous mutated creatures. The monsters were sent by a man calling himself Dr. Mangle, who threatens to attack the rest of the world unless his demands are met. After Snake’s plane gets shot down and crash lands in the city, he is forced to continue on foot and fight his way through, rescuing any survivors on the way - all while hunting for secret areas and racking up a high score".

DeleteHope they release it on GOG day one, can't wait :D
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they will :D
DeleteI saw the BioMenace image and was hoping to read "coming to the Amiga". hehe.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the ORIGINAL 90's version!!
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice to see a remaster, but THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE BIO-MENACE.
ReplyDeleteI like that it allows you to choose the original graphics, while keeping all the other enhancements. That kind of respect for the source material makes it a worthier project.
ReplyDeleteI played the original DOS game on my IBM PS/2 model 30 286 10 Mhz PC!
