I was checking the latest releases and came across this pretty damn fine Amiga game that blends a bit of dungeon crawling with some roguelike fun. Titled as 'Sir Redford Knights Adventure', this upcoming Commodore Amiga game by Juen, Koyot1222 and JMD, not only came 1st place at the RAM#3 compo, but word on the street is the game is still being worked on, with a demo for you to try right now. To coincide with this news, provided below is some gameplay footage and full details.
And here's the full details from the video description. "Published at the party RAM#3 demo compo. The game took 1st place. An early but fully playable demo of our new dungeon crawler game engine, which will focus on randomness, so that every game is different. Playable demo with 5 stages, the engine will eventually be expanded with more items and statistics. The game will be expanded with additional statistics and items to increase speed or luck".
- Requirements: A500 stock.
Nice! I am a big fan of such games, namely Sword of Fargoal. Sir Redford is so cute!^^ I also like the gfx style and I am enjoying the music. Its so retro and soothing. I wonder if the gained XP can be used for anything (leveling up) or if its just some kind of score.
ReplyDeleteTake my money and give me the game! 🤩 This looks amazing. I'm happy people still develop games for the Amiga, but I'm thrilled about this genre.
ReplyDeleteThis looks supernice! Can't wait to see the final product (in a nice ADF-File, hehe). Keep up the good work!
